On 30-31 of August, the Romania-Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry took part in the “International Business Forum”, event that brought together ambassadors, representatives of the economic and business authorities. During the event, the Ministry of Business Commerce and Entrepreneurship launched the “Business Romania” platform, ehich aims to support foreign investors and autochthonous companies. The event was attended by representatives of the Embassy of the State of Israel in Romania, H.E. Mrs. Tamar Samash and the new Commercial and Economic Attache, Mrs. Bareket Knafo and CCIRI members.

Romania-Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted "Fusion-Israel 70", "Fusion - Israel 70", painting exhibition and photographic collage signed by the artist Daniel Zlota and photographer Zoltan Marton. The opening took place in the presence of H.E. Mrs. Tamar Samash, Ambassador of the State of Israel to Romania. For a week this exhibition was open to the general public.

The Romanian-Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry participated in the 5th edition of the "Bridges of Tolerance". This project is organized by B'nai B'rith Europe, the B'nai B'rith Forum "Dr. Moses Rosen" Romania and the Federation of Jewish Communities in Romania, in partnership with the National Bank of Romania, the Romanian Cultural Institute, the Ministry of Romanians Everywhere and the "Eudoxiu Hurmuzachi" Institute for Romanians everywhere.

Romania-Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry was a partner in the second edition of the "Romania-Israel Homeland & Cyber Security Forum", organized by the Embassy of Israel in Romania, in partnership with the Ministry of Economy of Israel. The event took place on March, 27th 2018 at Sheraton Hotel Bucharest.

Romania-Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted the workshop "Changes in Digital Marketing in 2018" presented by the marketing agency re7consulting Romania. The event took place on Wednesday, March 21st at 10.00 a.m., at the headquarters of the Romania-Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Romania-Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized on 28th of February an event dedicated to the agricultural field, completing the seminar "Israel's Outlook on Agriculture", organized by the Economic Mission of the Embassy of Israel in Bucharest. Professor Mr. Sheenan Harpaz was present at both events and he is renowned for his research in the field of agriculture with extensive practical experience. We also had the pleasure of having guests, representatives of the Embassy of the State of Israel in Romania headed by the Madame Ambassador, Her Excellency Tamar Samash, the Commercial Attaché and Head of the Economic Mission to Romania, Mr. Matan Safran and representatives from the business environments from Romania and Israel.

Romania-Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry was partner at PRIA Drugs and Medicine Publicity (3rd edition). The event took place on February 20, 2018 at Ramada Majestic Hotel and the disscused topics were: advertising law in the field of medicines and medical devices, codes of conduct followed by the pharmaceutical industry, code of ethics for marketing in the pharmaceuticals industry, the role of regulation, the role of commercial companies, the role of pharmaceutical chains, the regulation of the advertising of food supplements, the role of the social media. Representatives of the ANMDM, Presidential Administration, RAC, Culture Comitee and representatives of the pharmaceutical companies, those who produce medical devices and supplements were present at the conference.

Romania-Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry took part in the ceremony during which Mr. Aurel Vainer received the honorary citizen title of the Bucharest. The event took place on Wednesday, 7th of February, 2018 and was organized by Bucharest City Hall and hosted by the National Art Museum in the Royal Dining Room.

Romania-Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted the strategic conference "Romania face-to-face with GDPR Re-Action". This event was organized by APAP in partnership with SISA through the Department of Intelligence and Private Security Consulting and was addressed to decision makers in the following fields: Telecom, Public Utilities, Pharma, Banking, Financial Services, Retail, E-commerce, Manufacturing, Call Centers , Marketing, Media, Public Sector, Oil & Gas, Security, Other Services.
